How to Present at BLM2-ICAM4

Accepted abstracts will be presented live (online) or through recorded videos (offline).

Presentation Mode

The virtual presentations offer you the opportunity to present and publish your research work without physically attending the conference. Similar to conventional conference presentations, all accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings. Virtual presenters will also be awarded a Certificate and their papers will be considered for publication opportunities in the affiliated journals. Note that publication in the journals is subject to the terms and condition of each journal.

To virtually participate and present your work at BLM2-ICAM4 conference, you need to first submit your Abstract via the online submission form. The submitted abstracts will be assessed by the Conference Scientific Committee. After receiving the Scientific Committee approval, you will be notified about your presentation mode (i.e. online and offline presentation) through an email.

All accepted abstracts regardless of their presentation mode will be treated the same in terms of publication in proceedings, certificate, journal publication opportunity, etc.

Online Presentation

If your submission has been selected for online presentation, you should present your work at the conference live parallel sessions during the given time to you. We will use Zoom for our live presentations. The link to your session will be sent to you before the conference.

Presentation time < 10 minutes
Q&A session < 5 minutes

Offline Presentation

If your submission has been selected for offline presentation, you may present your work at the conference through a recorded video and publish your abstract in the conference proceedings. To do so, you need to record a video of your presentation, upload it on YouTube, and share the YouTube video link with us through the video submission link before 5:00pm on 1 September 2021 (Malaysia Standard Time, UTC+8). See the following video on how to upload your video on YouTube.

Video Format

Keep your video short. Shorter videos are more engaging. We prefer a 3 minutes video and we don’t accept videos longer than 10 minutes.

Focus on voice and audio quality. If your voice is not clear, is too quiet, or is hard to hear due to competing noises in the background, it will not be easy to understand you.

If you wish to record your face, lighting is the key. Make sure your face is clearly visible. Try not to position your lighting behind yourself.

And please insert “BLM2-ICAM4: An International Joint e-Conference” in the beginning of the video or in your slides if you intend to use slides for your offline presentation.
